No one likes to be played for a fool.
Yet, it remains an annual tradition that otherwise veracious people and organisations would lie in the name of April Fool s.
And it is your own fault for being dumb enough to fall victim to a joke.
It is probably the only time of year when victim-blaming is acceptable and practically a sport. It is all fun and games until it happens to you.
You think you are too smart to be fooled? Me too.
Beware the end of March as the first of April is nigh.

GoFundMe Created to Purchase Colorado Rockies
At first, you laugh and think okay one sports fan has had a few too many beers but after you ponder the idea for a few more minutes it doesn t sound as crazy as it once did. The idea of creating a GoFundMe to purchase the Colorado Rockies and try to do something about the team who is projected to lose 95 games this year according to statistics put together by FanGraphs. Now according to 9 News, this has to lead the owner of the Denver Beer Company to create his own GoFundMe to do something about the tough season they are projected to have.
In case you haven t been to Stone Oven in downtown Wichita Falls the past few months, they have been cooking up some unique pizzas. So why not throw some ideas their way.
If you re a fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, like myself, you may remember they used to eat some very strange pizzas. Looks like Stone Oven is fully embracing the strange pizza ideas with their recent team ups with some great Wichita Falls restaurants. Also Stone Oven loves the Ninja Turtles, check out the murals on the outside of the building.
So Stone Oven has recently teamed up with McKinney BBQ and Highlander Public House with some very cool pizzas. Their latest this month is with Gypsy Kit. It has Gypsy Kit s Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork and Kimchi Sauce, along with bacon, onions, smoked gouda, mozzarella, and a garnish of cilantro. Sounds tasty, but it got me to thinking about other Wichita Falls restaurants they should team up with. Below are my top five.
